» Advanced Poverty Impact Evaluation Course August 10 th- 14th 2008

The Centre for Socio-economic Research and Training (CSRT), Kampala is planning to conduct an Advanced Poverty Impact Evaluation Course, during the week of 10th– 14th August 2008 at Hotel Africa, Kampala.

The objective of the course is to provide participants with the skills required to undertake assessments of poverty impact. Poverty is broadly defined to include health, education, access to basic services, security, revenues and consumption, etc. The course will therefore provide a detailed review of the techniques for the evaluation of the impact of a broad range of projects, programs and policy interventions on poverty. The course is suitable for development professionals wanting a detailed review of the techniques for poverty impact evaluation.

The course will be taught by experts in evaluation and monitoring with practical experience at international level. The cost of the course is shared by the Centre and participating institutions.
